2019 Peabody Cider Cycle
an AMAZING success!! Together we raised OVER $8000 for the LAFF Pathway!
The Peabody Cider Cycle was conceived and organized by Garrett Peabody, owner of Peabody Ice Climbing Experience. The first year’s event was held on Saturday, September 21, 2020 at Peabody Ice Climbing on Foley Road in Fenton (former location of the Peabody Orchard processing plant). In its inaugural year, the event raised over $8600 dollars for LAFF Pathways and had 167 registered bike riders from the local area and around the State of Michigan. Riders enjoyed either a 15 or 30 mile course on gravel and low traffic roads in Genesee and Livingston counties. Fresh, hot donuts were provided to all riders at Diehl’s Orchard at their location in Holly. A post ride party was held back at Peabody Ice Climbing Experience where food was provided by D& W's Street Eatery and music provided by local musician (and LAFF board member) Patric Parker and also the local Linden, MI band Driven.
